Our Awards

The Real Estate Institute of New South Wales is the peak body for our industry. The Institute’s annual ‘Awards for Excellence’ are the highest accolades possible. Each October the state-wide awards are presented as part of a glittering event in Sydney.

Over the years many from Leah Jay have been recognised as leaders in the industry, thanks to the REI NSW ‘Awards for Excellence’.

In 2010 Brooke from our Warners Bay office was named ‘Young Property Manager of the Year’ in NSW. Brooke follows in the footsteps of Leah and others over the past 16 years who have received major awards. We also had finalists in two other categories, Karen from the Hamilton office for ‘Excellence in Property Management’ and Cassandra from East Maitland for ‘Excellence in Corporate Support’.

Leah Jay is the only multiple recipient in NSW of the ‘Award for Excellence in Property Management’, in 1998 and 2003. We also received the major award for ‘Corporate Support’ in 2005 and have been finalists for major awards on four other occasions.

We look at these awards as more than kudos for the individual and the company; it’s a reflection of the commitment and pride we take in our collective roles. Hopefully they also give owners and tenants added reassurance because our values and adherence to professional and ethical standards often form part of the judging criteria.
