  • Many thanks for four, trouble-free years of effective management of my tenancy

    I'd just like to provide some encouragement to Leah Jay and its staff based on the past positive experience I have had as a Leah Jay tenant and my contrasting experiences with another property manager appointed recently by the landlord.

    The current property manager has shown a lack of understanding of how to manage the three tenants' individual water usage billing, which became clear with the first water usage billing request I received recently. They lacked the courtesy to acknowledge their obvious error, and also failed to acknowledge my formal response and proposal for payment of water usage to them. They have also not visited the property since becoming the managing agent in the last quarter of 2012, nor have they completed a condition report.  This latter aspect I would argue is important, given that the landlord has recently decided that he is to sell all the units at this location due to a change in his personal circumstances.

    Many thanks to the staff at your Hamilton office (especially Karen and Mecca) for four, trouble-free years of effective management of my tenancy.
