I enjoy working at Leah Jay because it’s a friendly team environment. We’re given the tools, training and skills to confidently carry out the job with good support. My role is to support other staff members, cover staff on leave and assist where required.
My early working life was spent as a secretary for a large insurance company. I made the move into real estate over 30 years ago, firstly in secretarial support before progressing into residential property management. Of my 30 years in real estate, 20 have been in property management.
I try to have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and aim to always be happy and remain calm. In this line of work, a sense of humour helps to put things in perspective. As I now work part-time, I have the opportunity to do some more travelling and spend time with my family, including my lovely grandchildren.
